Portofino is an Italian fishing village and holiday resort famous for its picturesque harbour and historical association with celebrity and artistic visitors. It is a comune located in the Metropolitan City of Genoa on the Italian Riviera. The town is clustered around its small harbour, and is known for the colourfully painted buildings that line the shore.
Its centre consists of the charming yet simple piazza, flanked by the tall, colourful houses huddled in a semi-circle, while lazily being washed by the sea waters of the marina. It all creates a serene atmosphere with a taste of bygone days and almost a film-set quality.
Lerici is set in a natural bay in the Eastern part of La Spezia. An excellent presentation of Lerici and its surrounding villages can be found in the works of Shelley, Byron, Virginia Wolf, D.H. Lawrence, Mario Soldati and many other writers.
Today Lerici is a picturesque seaside resort with a small but efficient tourist marina. However, it still preserves traces of its historic past, like the imposing 13th century Pisan-Genoese Castle (enlarged in the 17th century). Lerici is called the “Perla del Golfo” (the pearl of the gulf), because of its breathtaking beauty. This small town and its surrounding area offer an ideal seaside holiday all year round. Lerici has been repeatedly awarded the European title “Bandiera Blu”(the blue flag). The “Bandiera Blu” is an award given to seaside resorts for clean beaches, unpolluted water and quality of services. If you like scuba diving, fishing and water sports, you will find here a typical Mediterranean marine habitat.
The surrounding beautiful villages of San Terenzo, La Serra and Tellaro, certainly deserve a visit. Tellaro has been given the award “Borghi più belli d’Italia” (the most beautiful villages of Italy).
Opposite Portovenere there are three islands: Palmaria, which can be reached on our yacht to visit the Blue Grotto, Tino and Tinetto, which are part of the Regional Park of Portovenere. Between these islands you can anchor and swim in the warm, crystal clear waters of the Ligurian Sea.
Portovenere is a cute town located on the Ligurian coast of Italy in the province of La Spezia. In 1997, Portovenere, like the villages of the Cinque Terre, was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Opposite Portovenere there are three islands: Palmaria, which can be reached on our yacht to visit the Blue Grotto, Tino and Tinetto, which are part of the Portovenere Regional Park. Between these islands you can stop and swim in the warm, crystal clear waters of the Ligurian Sea.
Walking along the wide promenade, you can enjoy the atmosphere of the old city, as well as the amazing scenery of the sea overlooking the majestic castle.
Corsica is an island in the Mediterranean Sea and one of the 18 regions of France. It is located southeast of the French mainland and west of the Italian Peninsula, with the nearest land mass being the Italian island of Sardinia to the immediate south. A single chain of mountains makes up two-thirds of the island.
While being part of Metropolitan France, Corsica is also designated as a territorial collectivity (collectivité territoriale) by law. As a territorial collectivity, Corsica enjoys a greater degree of autonomy than other French regions; for example, the Corsican Assembly is able to exercise limited executive powers. The island formed a single department until it was split in 1975 into two historical departments: Haute-Corse (Upper Corsica) and Corse-du-Sud (Southern Corsica), with its regional capital in Ajaccio, the prefecture city of Corse-du-Sud. Bastia, the prefecture city of Haute-Corse, is the second largest settlement in Corsica. The two departments, and the region of Corsica, merged again into a single territorial collectivity in 2018.
After being ruled by the Republic of Genoa since 1284, Corsica had been briefly an Italian-speaking republic from 1755, until it was officially ceded by the Republic of Genoa to Louis XV as part of a pledge for debts and conquered in 1769. Napoleon Bonaparte was born the same year in Ajaccio, and his ancestral home (Maison Bonaparte) is today a significant visitor attraction and museum. Due to Corsica’s historical ties with the Italian peninsula, the island retains many Italian cultural elements to this day: Corsican is recognized as a regional language by the French government.
We offer you to plunge into the atmosphere of the French island, feel the whole flavor of centuries-old history and swim in the beautiful bays on the island’s coast. This holiday on a yacht will be unforgettable for you!
The Cinque Terre is a coastal area within Liguria, in the northwest of Italy. It lies west of La Spezia, and comprises five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Cinque Terre is a popular tourist destination. We offer boat trips on a yacht or motor boat to visit these magical places. Tourists from all over the world come here to admire the local beauties.
Thanks a lot to the Yachtrent team for picking up such a great option. At the beginning, we planned to rent for a day, but the Predator conquered us and we decided to extend it for another 3 days !! The yacht is clean, well-groomed, despite the age it can be seen that it is kept in perfect condition. But in any luxury trip there are also disadvantages – because of my love for speed, it was often necessary to look for a port for refueling, but these are trifles against the background of general rest. Next year we turn again, only now we take the sailing, in contrast, so to speak. Service prosperity!
Yacht Nelson 25 although the yacht is about 20 years old, but in her case it was not a minus, but an advantage. Antique finish evokes the feeling of a medieval navigator. And the modern overhaul did not allow them to feel infringed on household goods. The captain explained something about the exclusivity of this yacht, but we just wanted to have a good time. And we had it great, or rather fabulous! It seemed that the crew were solid telepaths: I just wanted to swim, right there the yacht anchored in a wonderful bay, I wanted an aperitif, then a hostess with drinks goes without feeling, the feeling of hunger was crushing the perfect cook-kok in the bud … It’s a pity the week has ended. We are going to return. Even the discounts agreed in advance 🙂
We rested last summer with my family and friends. Everyone was absolutely delighted! So attentive staff that Turkey with all inclusive is just a pitiful similarity to a truly worthwhile holiday! From the tips: food and drinks we bought ourselves, the manager of Yachtrent recommended to us exactly where to do it and what to take with us. You can agree in advance on the place of meeting with the captain. Very convenient, you got rid of geolocation and you calmly drive up at the appointed time. On the yacht, it is customary to go barefoot, in socks or in slippers. For the forgetful guests, the guys also thought of everything and prepared disposable slippers. By the way, they could have been asked to prepare other little things for swimming, but we had everything with us. You choose the route yourself and you just need to agree in advance with Yachtrent. But we didn’t do that, we just outlined something that we wanted to see and the team prepared the route for us. He was gorgeous! Very picturesque places that only locals know about, no tourists! There are still a lot of useful tips and necessary nuances, but almost for everything I was told on Yachtrent and we just had a great rest and had a good time!
Good day! Usually I do not write reviews (not in my style), but this is worth my attention. I decided to do an original surprise to my girlfriend and make her an offer in an unusual place. Portovenere + sailing yacht + romantic dinner from the chef + helped with flowers and other entourage. Guys, who is going to make an offer – 100% YES is waiting for you. Thanks to the Yachtrent team for their patience and great preparation and help!

We decided to go to Italy for the first time with my husband and two young children. We thought for a long time on which region it would stop, everywhere a lot of information, but absolutely useless for inept tourists, like us. Friends recommended contacting Yachtrent. Of course, we didn’t believe that the Company that rents yachts, which are also so cool, can help us with something. But imagine our surprise when the girl at the other end of Europe was able to recommend the arrival time and the necessary docking, helped with the transfer (I remind you, two small children are not a super easy trip), built a travel route for us, familiarized with possible places to visit and also children Were able to ride on this yacht! Thank you very much for choosing a wonderful yacht for reasonable money. We enjoyed Italy very well, the children are delighted, we will definitely recommend you !!!!
Great service, I recommend !! Azamat, Kazakhstan
